Smash Tokyo X Halfbad Toys are putting in something small together. It's funny that a lot of people are putting in stuff they've all a) done before and b) sold to the public.
Sheeit, I just wanted to be in my first show. Our stuff is still being cast as I write so I guess it'll be a surprise.
Your stuff looks hot Joe.....

Hey Matty - everyone likes to see new stuff, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you have done up, but you have to realize:
a)sometimes it's not so easy to make a new sculpt, mold and casts when you get an e-mail then have a week or so to get the piece together
AND
b)There are a lot of people in the toy world who have never seen ANY of the stuff a lot of us have already sold. It's new to them dude!

Just my 2 cents - and I'd wager a lot of the guys on here are in the same boat!

Oh wait...I read that wrong...I thought it meant it couldn't be an existing work of "your own" but it means an existing platform.

the colorway of BubbolOne is an exclusive for the show and is not the yellow you see here.
(that is sold out)

About other Dedo's toys i dont know the colorway, will be a surprise for me too.

You have to know that we live in different cities and both hate do photos :)

Only had time to submit 1 myself - wanted to do a little something different for this show than the traditional 3D sculpt
Fractal Kachina 1 - Sands of Eternal Time
9.5" tall
ImageImage
multilayered, eyes and mouth for example go in the deepest - up to 1/2", which is hard to see in the picture because of the black background
can be taken out of the base and stands freely on its own as well.

everyones else's pieces look great! Can't wait to see some more submissions - going to be a great show!

I'm so unhappy to not send new resin work for this Show (if toy arrive safe and in time :) ) but there wasnt time to prepare cast and mold a new one
and send the toy from italy to USA. You have to know that i and dedo are in different and quite far cities

But i'm very happy and honored to be in.

I don't think our stuff will make it on time after all...it's still in the mold. Oh well, more luck to you guys! We were going to try for technique as opposed to what the piece looked like and how it was painted i.e. we were going to have GID, UV, bloody nuclear flecked Hyper color ones that change color in water etc.
They were actually going to look like crap tho

Some good stuff above! Shame I won't be able to see them all in person. It's so hard to get a sense of scale from photos.

Here's my three...

Jesus F-ing Christ! These are AMAZING! Well done man!

And FYI - my pieces are 2 (mini-cake), 3(owl) and 4(big cupcake) inches in size.

How big are your guys by the way - I'm going to need one at some point! But a big move (namely to Japan  ) in the next month means no new purchases right now...
