Post subject:  First attempt at working with resin

Well I'm notorious for not finishing things unless I keep myself accountable some how so I figured I'd start a thread and show the progress on this piece I'm experimenting with.

It may not look like much but I'm awful proud of it so far.

Can't wait to make a mold of it.
Which actually leads me to a question.

I bought some resin about a year ago and never used it*. What is the shelf life of the unopened resin parts?


*I did say I have a hard time finishing things

I did the same thing except I was going to try casting some clear paperweights with inclusions. Then I discovered this new kaiju toy boom that I didn't even know existed and here we are...

And I have no good answer to your question, but I hope they last a long time! :lol:
