Ooooh snap! Those color choices sound dope ![]() If you can figure out a way to marble two colors together, a light green/deep purple would look tasty. |

A nice rich maybe 2 toned green/brown w/ some red hairs would ROCK! Or purple and green... either way he would look super sticky!!! Oh, and his eye could be red! Nice work! TGB |

Post subject: | "Twamp Thing-(new name) New pix 8/4/11 for medical use only |
Here is some new pix of the new Sculpt. I renamed it because it was stupid to have a males name for a female. So I decided to go with something a little less gender based. The new name is "Twamp Thing" more pix at the site http://www.savagefreaks.com ![]() ![]() |

So I decided to lower the price on these little guys. $35 is to much. So the new price is $20. I hope that is more affordable for folks. I started off at $35 to off set the costs, But after talking to some folks, I realized that its more important to get them out there. What do you guys-gals think? |

Although $35 is a fair price for the work you put into them imo, $20 sounds like a fantastic deal. Even if you need to shell out a few bucks from your own pocket, I agree with you in that allowing people to more easily appreciate your figures is a great idea! |

But, I say that if they cost you $35 to make, charge $35 for them. I'm 100% with you on the fact that the most important thing is getting these guys into other people's hands. That's the fun part! Donate your time and labor to the cause, sure. At the end of the day, that's something that you're doing for your own enjoyment, anyway. But don't set yourself up to take too much of a financial loss. |

I'm inclined to agree with TT... even if you're just starting out as a hobby, giving them away doesn't make sense. I think it paints a better image to work out a number that makes sense and is sustainable, and stick to it, letting your peers and 'market' decide if they want it. I'm always hugely turned off by seeing artists having a fire-sale of their work just to move it, rather than actually taking the time to make something great and promote it well to develop people's interest. |

I'm always hugely turned off by seeing artists having a fire-sale of their work just to move it, rather than actually taking the time to make something great and promote it well to develop people's interest. I wasn't trying to have a fire sale. It seemed stupid to sell something thats called "Twamp Thing" for $35 bucks It needs to be a twamp ($20). Plus I do this for a hobby, it helps me unwind from my job. There is no way there is $35 dollars worth of material there. When I first made the price I was more about thinking all the time it took to make it. I figured since me making them is more like therapy for me, why charge you for that? I got a lot of benefit in making these. If someone likes these at $35 they can now pick up two for almost the same price. Plus I really want people to enjoy these and if $35 was to steep than maybe $20 won't be. Not trying to rant just explaining my actions ![]() |

So here are the last of the Twamps. When I pulled my last one the mold got messed up and the sculpt was destroyed on the molding process. Im planning on making a DX version and maybe a vinyl version if I can scrap up some money.
