Post subject:  Info on USUGROW???

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone here have seen USUGROW's art up close. I was wondering what kind of medium he use in order to make that shading look to it. Does anyone now? I just think his artwork is awesome so was trying to get more info on him. Just so hard to find out more about him. But thanks for looking and I hope you guys all have a great week.

Hiro

I think he uses the technique of stippiling with pen and ink. His work is awsome.

Darn shame his store can't sell outside of Japan, although if anyone's interested, there's currently a size Large t-shirt on eBay.

I don't know if "large" is the same in Japan as elsewhere though. I've learned the hard way that sizes mean different things in different countries.

He lives close to me and I see him sometimes. I know he is really busy but I could ask him what techniques he uses but dont when I would hear back. He has alot of shit going on and more soon, is the states too from what he told me a couple weeks ago. So you will probably see more of him soon.

Upper Playground has a couple of tee-shirts by him in the store, don't know if they have them online or not...awesome though. Glad I snagged them.

One of my favorite artists.
I'm not sure, but I think that he uses a rapidograph pen and is just really skilled at pointalism.
I'd like to get a tattoo of his work at some point. And of course an original drawing for my wall.

I was at PD's hot shop a little while ago and they had a couple Skull skates decks with Usugrow graphics.

I just checked, and there are indeed a couple shirts with his designs online:

The second one is linked to on that page.

I personally want the jacket (the Guadalupe one) that's on his Web site's store.
