For the guys who has ordered these online. How long does it normally take for it to arrive to your door? It's been almost 2 weeks and nothing. I'm wondering if the quantity has anything to do with it..

For the guys who has ordered these online. How long does it normally take for it to arrive to your door? It's been almost 2 weeks and nothing. I'm wondering if the quantity has anything to do with it..

cool i'm in NC too it would cost a lot more in gas to drive to atlanta or northern va i hear they are eventually building an ikea in charlotte though |

For some reason, the IKEA online store says it will cost $245.17 to ship it to Ithaca, NY. I don't think that is at all correct. I wonder if I could put an order in via phone...? |

Robert, you got a deal.. same thing happened to my friend last year. Everytime I check the site, shipping is $200+ but I have heard of a few people getting the $24 shipping. Maybe the fact you ordered 8 comes into play. |

yep over a year ago Seattle was the closest store. About 3-4 hrs away. So tried to buy online and 250 was shipping. So road trip for detolf's to seattle. But good news, IKEA opens in Portland in a few months maybe less. |

My invoice said to expect a call in 14 days to schedule a delivery time. It's coming by truck I guess. |

they probably shipped them on a pallet if you ordered 8 of them but even still, freight shouldnt take that long either...even if they're just on the pallet while in transit :shrugs: I remember transporting one of those to my car from ikea and it wasn't very fun, i can't imagine UPS or FedEx handling those individually very nicely.. |
