Check it out, someone just brought this to my attention:

I post my new Marmit Woo and literally a half an hour later the pics show up on ArtToyz: http://www.artoyz.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 3&start=60

notice Horseshoes pics as well, his "blue" pic is on the page before.

haha, and as far as i can tell, some other familiar stuff as well.


am i wrong to think this is jerky? this guy is on KR as well with the same name and avatar: Nicodoco

Wow - this guy lifts stuff all over - there are some pic I recognize from E-bay and from Kung Fu Toys.

Ask Parka what the deal is - go to the first page and there is a post by him with his little mask icon and all........ sorry never took French in school so I am no help. But I did like the dancing Mazinga!

Well it's been happening alot in the "Dolly" communities.(Funny how so much is mirrored in all my hobbies. That's just the internet I guess)

I've had my pics stolen, and used to talk crap about me and my work.So I'm pretty up in arms and defensive about it.

Then people will argue how it's ok, and there's no legal action that can be taken. Basically how it's their "right" just to be a snarky asshole.

I don't put up with photo theft nicely, but I really do appreciate it when people ask.

To be fair, he just posted the same link to where you put it on Imageshack. True, he didn't ask you permission or give you credit, but at least he didn't copy the image and re-host it somewhere else, or steal bandwidth from your own personal site.

I really don't see the difference between doing this and posting image links from online auctions, or other web sites.

You have every right to be pissed off. Not only did they take your picture without asking, they didn't even host it themselves, it is a direct link to your imageshack account.
You should screw with the picture on Image shack. It would show up on their site as well.

This is my answer to Horseshoe on the Artoyz forum, asking why I stole his pictures and/or why I didn't ask his permission to use them:

"Take it easy, did I steal your pictures? Did I break in your appartment and took the pictures from you? Relax, i never pretended those pictures were from me or from my own collection, we just put pictures of japanese toys in this thread. So, just relax, I think you have one of the best collection I've ever seen and take great pictures, but in this forum, nobody give a rat's ass who they belong to (by the way, if you post them, you have to accept the fact that other people might post them somewhere else).

Hope you understand.. "

So just to clarify, this is a thread in our forum where we put put WHATEVER picture from cool japanese toys, and well it happens that the coolest pictures are here! I've never said something like "Dudes, look at my new toyyyyys" regarding your pictures. I just posted them and people enjoy them like crazy, they think THE TOYS are beautiful. Do you think we really care who took the shot overthere? People don't give a shit about that there, they just want to see new cool things...I mean, what you want to put a fucking copyright on all your pictures? Do you want to be famous because of them??

Damn, you should be pretty happy that your toys appear on a french forum and that people are like "Oh my god, this is beauuutiful!!". Just that thought should make you smile if you really liked the toys.

Please send me a PM if you don't want that your picture appear in our forum, because otherwise, I will show my friends the cool pictures I see all around..
