Hello all,

My best friend, notorious art collector Jeff Dauber has curated his first show, "Ominous Atmosphere" for Heather Marx Gallery in San Francisco. Please stop by the opening or take a few minutes to visit during the show's tenure if you're in the SF Bay Area and are so inclined.

I'm not familiar with all of the artists in the show, but one of my very favorite current California artists, Al Farrow, will have some works there. I'm sure that Al's art would appeal to a lot of Skullbrainers. In recent years, he's been sculpting large Christian reliquaries and cathedrals, Islamic mosques and Jewish temples made completely from old weapons and bullets. The reliquaries include bones and ashes of people that Al has known. They're all profoundly impressive pieces, as reverent as they are scary and controversial ... quite a trick to pull off, which Al has done beautifully.

I hope you'll stop by and enjoy some rad new art!
