Scott, I think missy and I were recently having a conversation about theme parks and you came up somehow and I said "I bet Scott doesn't like rides, I can just tell" and of course, I'm right

dude, it's all computers now. those kids are just there for show.

you can sit and watch these things run all day and they will come back safely every time. people only get hurt when they do stupid stuff like chew gum while on a ride or attempt to get off before it's completely stopped and whatnot.

what's life without a little danger?

Skylar and I did recently get stuck on Pirates of the caribbean for 40 minutes...but there is no danger. you just float in a boat and watch the animatronics loop. haha.

I just read the first page, and somewhat proved my own theory. many of the deaths were due to people doing stupid stuff that you should obviously not do, like a park employee trying to retrieve someone's shoes that fell off while a ride was in motion, etc.

there was only one roller coaster thing, and no one was injured.

and none of the rides mentioned were ones I've been on, so far.

I pretty much stick to coasters.

I get stuck on rides all the time, I dunno why it happens it just happens.
I got stuck on Test Track once at Epcot, at the point it is going 60 miles an hour around the turn, had to be on a 70 degree incline, was pretty cool/scary/crazy all in one, stopped on a dime as well. I have it on video

I got stuck in it in the graveyard once, which was pretty awesome. there's lots to look at. then the lights came on and I tried to take tons of pictures, but couldn't get many good views. then I had to walk out because they couldn't get it to work, which was cool, but my friend that was on it with me had never been on and didn't get to see the hitchhiking ghosts part

That must've looked cool with the lights on. I seen space mountain with the lights on, it was pretty sweet. Sucks he missed the hitch hiking ghosts, thats one of the best parts. They are also revamping the haunted mansion, I believe it said it will re-open in fall

I was just there and it was closed for refurbishment. supposed to re-open in september.

they made madame leota float. added some new scene. added the bride's husband in the attic. improved audio.

I got stuck on a haunted house carnival ride once when I was a kid. It was lame. There was some dude in a badly made "swamp monster" costume standing next to our car who would moan and jump out at people when the ride was working. For several minutes while we were just sitting there, he kept moaning. I said something like "would you cut it out you stupid monster?" LOL ... then the lights came on and some non-monster carny walked us out. It was boring. I wanna see Space Mountain with the lights on.
