Well today is my birthday and my girl bought me this cool woodblock print from a local shop.
I love it take a look :
I was just curious if any one could translate this for me ??

Try searching for Uchida printers. The octagonal stamp appears to be their studio mark. No idea on the top kanji. |

Okay well from what I found the name his name is Akitoyo Terada and was active in the 1950's I will post more when I find more info. Thanks Akum6n !!!! I will post a pic of my other print to see if you can identify the mark on that one also

Ah, ok. If that's his name, the top two kanji should be "Akitoyo." |

very cool man! i love woodblock prints. my late uncle used to make prints depicting indian chiefs w/ this technique, i have a couple from him that are pretty awesome. your girl did good.
