Japanese denim. This will probably seem as crazy to most people on this board as buying 4" vinyl toys for $75 does to most people not on the board but I thought I would share anyway. ![]() ![]() These Dungarees are hand sewn and dyed. The fabric is woven in a shuttle loom; ring/ring with left handed twill and weighs in at an amazing 14.25 ounces. Only natural indigo dyes are used for color. Sugarcane fibers were incorporated in the weave to make them more elastic and more durable. (I shake with pleasure just typing that.) These are possibly the highest quality pair of Dungarees (don't you dare call them jeans) that have ever been made. They cost $500 but they are so worth it. |

I honestly don't think that's that insane for a pair of jeans, I mean, all things considered. there are lots of designer jeans that are really expensive. I personally wouldn't pay that much, but I don't find it impossible to belive that some people would. |

I found a pair of dkny jeans at macys in the discount rack with no tags by mistake, they sold them to me for $7.00 and I wasn't happy paying that much for clothes |

I would love to pass gas in a pair of $500 Dungarees! I'm not even going to say what I've spent on Doll clothes. ![]() |

It's pouring rain here and I stopped at Erewhon Outfitters. Big mistake- $150 for a Patagonia waterproof jacket thingie. Next stop Ace Hardware - $25 for a raincoat and rainpants! Probably made by left-handed Chinese kids. Not only that, they emitted enought toxic fumes to keep me high the whole time I walked in the woods - no extra charge. |

I just bit the bullet and bought them. The guy told me they were the last jeans I would ever need. Apparently the sugar cane fibers have enzymes in them that cause the natural indigo dye to “refresh” itself when washed with the special detergent they sell you with the jeans. So after you wash them they are bluer. |

yeah, i wouldn't spend it as i ruin clothes faster than you can say "spaghetti sauce" but i used to work for a clothing company that sold plenty of $3-500 jeans (not to mention shoes, bags and jackets) hah. people bought it up though. |

They are $500. I saw them priced at $450 on Grandism the day it launched (last year) but they were already sold out. I need the Hawaiian Code of Arms and the polaka pockets. |

the "special detergent" part is pure brilliance. Man, I need to think of something like that for toys. Maybe special buffing gloves to shine your vinyl. (I can hear the puns already.) |
