Ok, we all know Hollywood needs to work on some new ideas, but I heard some rumours that this was going to be remade as some dark action film...? |

Sweet! By Burton? H.B. Carter as Dorothy, Depp as the Scarecrow, Chris Tucker as the Tinman, Vin Diesle the Lion and Depp again as the Wicked Witch! Special effects by Wetta for Toto and the Monkeys, Chris Lee as the Wiz himself and you gotta hit! Just recut the rapping Oompa Loompas as Munchkins (rapping still) to cut corners and booyah! Wait, that'd suck. |

Ewww... I never found Helena Bonham Carter to be very attractive... it's kinda like her face is too tiny for the size of her head or something... like someone used a photoshop filter to squish it in a bit. |

I know the producer (who actually loves movies as opposed to just $$) and David Fincher is set to direct. edit: I also believe there is another OZ film in the works. That may be the Burton one talked about earlier, but it's different than the one Todd McFarlane is attached to. |

This has all the signs of an absolute disaster. McFarlane's a hack and wtf is "2007 wow factor"? Some sort of code for "we'll toss in some CGI flying monkeys"? Sounds as bad as the Alice in wonderland remake. |

I hate "TWISTED" crap like this, especially that Dorothy. Like, why does she need to be all BDSM? I think the original book without was "twisted" enough, we don't need any crappy Nu-Metal Video looking additions. |
