So since i am moving and the house is a bit smaller than the one I am currently in I am considering a "notebook" computer instead of pc. BUT I really only need it for webbrowsing, itunes, and basically it, some digital camera stuff, but nothing really professional. Ideas for CHEAP???

oh and plays DVD and burns CD is fine.

I don't mess around with laptops. Get an apple and forget about dependability issues. Every other laptop brand I've owned lasted about half a year before overheating issues pop up. If you can't spend apple cash my girlfriend is actually having good luck with her $500 toshiba *knock knock

Ditto on the Lenovos and Thinkpads. Look for Skylar's thread on notebooks, there was a lot of discussion about it.

My Apple Laptop overheated and busted within 1 1/2 years, but that was like....4 years ago. They fixed it, but it was never the same

I'd still say Apple though.
