Post subject:  ebay ID the hadge

this person is bidding on one of my items and their feedback is marked private. It would make me feel alot better if someone here could vouch for them. maybe the hadge is a lurker on here. anybody?

it says they have 1 positive feedback and its positive. Am I worrying for nothing. Ive never had to deal with that.

I've never heard of this person, but I believe you can go in and set your auctions's settings to ignore people who keep feedback private. I believe you also have the right to negate bids on items.

ugh so it lets you block people with negative feedback and such. But not with private profile. so arises a dilemma because this person is now the high bidder on the auction.

Try writing to them and asking why it's private. You may be able to judge from their response if there's a good reason for it, or if you should really stay away from them.

As long as you get paid it shouldn't matter. If you don't get paid use the 2nd chance offer option to offer it to the 2nd highest bidder.

You're the one in control.

I'd be more worried buying from a user with private feedback.

if you have private feedback you cannot sell on ebay
