Post subject:  botero bronze figs coming to berlin
a group of 15 huge burly bronze statues by columbian artist fernando botero
are shown in berlin. cant wait to go there as i was so damn
impressed when seeing em first on park avenue in nyc.
dont know - are they still there???

Very very nice. I love his work. He's been in the news here in the USA recently because he had a hard time getting his drawings depicting Abu Ghraib atrocities shown anywhere. To nobody's surprise, U.C. Berkeley was willing to exhibit them. Other venues feared they'd be regarded as "anti-American."

Nice photos, cool sculptures!
