Been reading lots about the signing with M1. The owner of M-1 says Randy and Fedor should fight September 2008. We Shall see. |

I don't want to read. Randy will sign with M-1 to fight him? I recall there being contract problems for Randy to be signed with UFC and fight someone signed with M-1... ? |

Both parties (UFC/Randy) see the contract different. Randy feels its the 2 years and Dana or UFC feels its the 2 fights left |

I was at Best Buy earlier today picking up the "new" or Castlevania Chronicles PSP disk and blasting away on one of their 70" Plasmas was some HD channel called MMA news. Anyway, there was "breaking news" that Fedor and Dana White are in negotiations for a multi-million dollar deal. Looks like he might find his way to the Octagon after all? Anyone heard about this? |

Yeah, Fedor is strictly with M-1 right now. Randy is trying to get out of his contract with the UFC and that could be a number of months or two extra fights. Randy just recently held a press conference stating his disappointment with the UFC offering Fedor a ton of cash, and that money being WAY more then he had ever been paid. This would be an awesome fight though, no matter where it happened. |

Yeah, I must have overheard the part about Randy bitching that he never got the kind of money that Dana White was offering to Fedor. Well, whatever. Maybe Randy will do some ground-n-pound on a mummy in the new Scorpion King movie. |

In the past Fedor has had very hard times with wrestlers, and this would be the highest calibur wrestler he has ever fought. Bas Ruttan has said that it would be a great fight, but has also said that he suspects Randy would win. I think my money would have to go on Randy on that recommendation alone. Having said that Fedor is a machine, and this is a fight. It would be exciting to watch regardless of the outcome. |

Fedor always look like a disgruntled postal employee. In all seriousness, he claims he and his team went with M-1 because they perceive the UFC as a USA money train, that M-1 Global is precisely that, "global." I just don't get it. (It is rumored) that Dana offered him 10 times more than what M-1 gave him. Strange things going on in this growing sport. Honestly I am not a UFC fanboy at all, but the viewer experience is just so much more polished. |

I like MMA, and right now the best MMA fighters with few exeptions are in UFC. I really just see in a few years M-1 being bought out by UFC. Right now they are a power house.... |
