that same blog said this in a more recent article: "The drink takes on a somewhat sweet and fruity flavor, but the artificial cucumber flavor is noticeable, in my opinion. It’s interesting for a few sips, but then the artificial cucumber aftertaste kicks in, making it pretty nasty." |

I think that was a summer release as I don't see it around anymore. The color is very much like melon soda, and it tastes like a mix of cola and watermelon from what I remember. I didn't think it was too bad. |

I was there in August and was looking for it everywhere. No luck. I'm sure there's some soda otaku out there who's sitting on twelve unopened cases, has never tasted a drop and never plans to. Today I was told that Tohato now sells double-strength habanero snack rings. The regular ones weren't hot enough? (They burn on the way out, too.) |

Anything hot or spicy is good with me. Still haven't found that one hot ass food to make me want gallons of water. Habanero snacks......BRING IT!!!! |

This shouldn't be too surprising... I remember seeing tomato and cucumber flavored ice-cream in Japan. |

bottled wrote: japan gets all the cool stuff. we get crap like pepsi clear, and diet coke with vitamins. Clear pepsi was pretty good, but it wasn't around very long. I don't drink soda anymore, but I haven't seen anything too exciting here for a long while. |

One time, at band camp, I was eating those Tohato habanero rings and I scratched my neck with the same hand that was I was using to dig into the bag. My neck burned for about two hours afterwards. |

I've got family from the west indies and the stuff they eat is FUCKING HELL HOT--like "the first person to have ever been given this shit to eat must've been hated"- hot. a relative of mine was making their own hot sauce and I tried just a tiny bit of it (they almost didn't give me any because they knew I had no idea how hot "hot" was) I felt the burn for like two days in my throat and guts. I mean the peppers they used should've been weapons--not food. I'll see if I can find anything for you in the way of snackfood. |
