Post subject:  Everything (just about) for sale...

I am going into a new phase of my life, which involves just about everything including a (very, very good) change of employment. I plan on selling off "just about" my entire collection of vinyl toys. I just don't have the time or energy anymore to dedicate to the "hobby." Besides that, my wife, who is my best friend, has no interest.

I have been overwhelmed with PMs and emails!!!

The messages that weren't asking to buy stuff, I have responded to, I think. Thanks for all of the kind words. Very gratifying.

The messages that did ask about possibly obtaining a certain figure or figures, I have printed as pdfs and saved them on my computer to go through later. I have not yet figured out how I am going to handle the sale, but time is at a premium (meaning I don't have a lot of time to spend on selling, going back and forth, etc.) and will probably choose whatever seems the most expeditious means.

I WILL feel free.

But right now I am feeling something like this:

Cheers and thanks for the good times!

George

So, I read alot of what NOT to do, but all I gleaned that I CAN do is take potshots at you and hunt down your stuff on eBay? Hope you're no longer confused as to why you catch so much shit on here.

Wow! Apart from a few obviously venemous replies, I never knew I had so many friends! :) ;)

Things I probably will keep: customs.

I guess it's easier for people to post negative comments.
I'll miss the photos, and your blogs list of links has been very useful.

Ditto for me - your blog and photos are amazing. Will you be keeping the blog up just as a reference tool for the rest of us?

You have no reason to apologize for wanting to get top dollar for anything you own - last time I checked, it was a free country.

Between this and Frank's sale, I wonder if this is going to set off a wave of panic selling - before the economy really goes into the crapper. Our own version of Black Monday. Is Japanese vinyl going to go the way of godzilla vinyl from a few years ago.

The next year in collecting should be interesting.

Didn't happen when Frank sold his entire SB collection last time, or when VGA did the same (with SB and RxH).

Geo-good luck with the next phase of your terrestrial existence!

Do we need to shop modpopshop for your stuff on the bay? Also, if you should decide to part ways with that custom you got from me some time ago, please let me know...I wouldn't mind seeing the little guy again!

I hope that whatever it is that you get into, that you will keep your camera close by and develop that talent you have...I've always liked your pictures!

Best wishes,
Scott

I agree with the picture compliment. Your collection shots have always been outstanding. I think I had one of your glow toy montages as my laptop background for awhile.

let us know what you're doing next if you want. peace.
