So I offered to make some mix tapes about a month ago to give away at the RxH/Super 7/LilJapan event on the 8th of Dec. If you definitely want one,and you will be at the show/store on the 8th please let me know here and I'll pm you with info. Requests are definitely accepted!!! No 2 tapes are alike. Some of the sounds you will hear: GAUZE IKKASHINJU GAI CONFUSE KIKEIJI GLOOM DEFECTOR THE STALIN NIGHTMARE BASTARD SO WHAT TOTAL FURY VULGARITY KIDS BORED TO DEATH AGE ASBESTOS WARHEAD D.S.B. Only hardcore,thrash,punk,oi,and power violence will be on these tapes. Any metal head going I can make a tape of Sabbat(the only metal band from Japan I like)and any grind heads I have ALLOT of sick grindcore from Japan. Also got some doom/sludge from Nippon too! Hit me up,fuckers!!! |

Corrupted fucking detsroy!!! I saw them live 3 times in a row back in 1998 when they toured the West Coast with Noothgrush nd Disassociate. The first night in Santa Ana they played 2 tracks in a little over an hour.....HEAVY and loud as fuck!!! The first track from the "El Dios Queja" 10" is truely the best sludge song ever and the track onnthe split with Noothgrush is a close second. |

I'm sure this was the same year I went. the night they played in DC was great. The bar/club was accidently double booked with another show. The other show was dub narcotic sound system. That night Ian Svenonius was performing with them so the whole dischord crowd was there. They were not too excited to see the crowd there for corrupted. The owner of the bar sided with Dub narcotic but agreed to let Corrupted play as they were from japan. The lackey for the DNSS carefully walked up to anyone they thought was there for them and had they pay beforehand. Carefully picking anyone dressed mod or hipster enough for THEIR show. it was painfully obvious who they didn't want at their show. anyways, the only dischord person to walk in and watch corrupted while they played? Ian mackaye. bring me one those mix tapes! |
