I miss those days. Sometimes at the start of a project, we would have 2 hour lunches cause there was nothing ready for us. |

A change of scenery is nice too. But my lunch sucked and cost too much. Next time, thermos of hot water + ramen.

i ate at Fogo de Chao in beverly hills today. i have no clue what the salad/veggie bar costs but i definitely ate my share. asparagus, shitake mushrooms, roasted peppers, beets, broccoli, etc... i ate 2 giant plates of veggies. it was awesome. and then a 7.50 fruit cup for dessert. i hate papaya. |

I'm going there for my birthday, rules. Though the salad bar looked top-notch, I didn't waste my time/belly room on it. |

wow. my company is so ghetto we do shit like: "okay, on the way back from such and such pickup you can grab lunch". And working in ghetto area essentially means my choices are fast food, semi-fast food and shady independent food chains. Like yesterday I went to check out this new indian place.....I went with a simple lamb curry and it tasted like it had been cured in salt for years though the naan was whole wheat and really good.....weirdness. so yah, im lucky if i get a 1/2 hr for lunch. |

i get my lunch at crazy hours like 4pm and either a) starve and just walk around the city or b) buy mcdonalds and regret it 5mins later. |

but the real question, do they wear those stupid pants out there too?
There is one of these near my work, and I laugh at people in these pants daily. Especially when they try to rock some kind of sporty coat with them. hahah |

I'm all for three hour lunches. Never did understand the three martini lunch. Was that supposed to help business people close deals? I don't wanna be sloshed at work. Problem with three hour lunches is ... who wants to come back after one? |

Today at work we grilled some burgers, dogs, turkey and washed it all down with a nice minikeg of Heine. Not too damn bad at all. |
