| Post subject: | Detolf construction question |
How easy is it to take apart a detolf? I am going to be at a new apartment for four months and want to move my detolf there but am wondering how easy people have found it to take apart and move their detolfs. Thanks in advance for any help. |

Take out the 3 glass shelves, then take the supplied hex key, unscrew the top nuts. Take the top panel off. remove all 4 glass pannels ( this includes the door) turn on its side and unscrew the bottom nuts. Slide out the 2 metal guide rods and your all done. Repeat in reverse to put back together. Easy, and it will allow you to give it the cleaning that it has been needing |

They come apart real easy if you use a hammer. |

In my tool bag I have 2 sets of allen keys so I don't need it. But when I get loose tools from what ever I buy I just put them in the bag or drawer. You never know if it will fit something else. I just figured with all the guys on here some would have tools in there homes and an allen/hex key wouldn't be a problem. |

I've deconstructed/reconstructed my detolf about four times. It's not hard- just go slow, and pay attention. |
