just got the mailer on the lineup this year, which actually looks quite incredible, unfortunately, the new ticket price is also quite incredible at $269 for special price presale tix! wonder what the regular cost will be?

That kind of makes me feel old - there's maybe four bands there that I'd pay more than five bucks to see; none of which would work well in a large open field. Did Pitchfork put this lineup together? |

Did Pitchfork put this lineup together? aside from portishead, i think this lineup is pretty garbage. like you said, you can see these bands anywhere...roger waters? meh. if i was 50 i might be interested in seeing him. i don't think any thought went into this lineup this year. jack johnson and portishead? way to read the demographic... i'm looking forward to seeing what they've put together for their new nyc festival though. if radiohead is in fact playing that one, we'll definitely be attending. |

Anyone going should check out Duffy . . . she's just breaking over here. Her folks were well into Northern Soul and her sound is straight outta Wigan Casino . . . |

Did Pitchfork put this lineup together? This might be quote of the year so far for me..... Yeah I'd only go to see Verve or Spiritualized both of which I've seen in smaller intimate venues (I hate big crowds). Wasn't My Bloody Valentine supposed to be reforming and playing this year? Glad I saw them back in the day. I'm still partially deaf from those shows. LOL Chris |

i have to amend my earlier comment. the jicks are playing and they're pretty rad, and when did madness reform??? but yeah...lame. i've heard that portishead will be touring on their own so we can keep our fingers crossed. |

i'd love to see Kraftwerk again. But not there. Also the Breeders could be fun on a smaller scale. Maybe El Rey or something. but no coachella for me. i like small dark venues. |

I hate fests. I hate blindingly hot weather. But I bet it would be cool to My Morning Jacket in that sort of setting. |

Every Cochella i've been to was so far nice, not sure if I could make this one though. The Verve will be playing? They're still around? |
