i'm looking for unique cake toppers and i wanted to see if anyone on here had any suggestions or even photos of unique ones you may have had looking for something in the 5" range and probably leaning to robots over monsters if we are going that path i've been told deathbot is not an option |

Tom Franck and his wife had Mazinger-Z and Aphrodite. (For only a few photographs, I'm told. ;p) |

Me and my gal might do rock 'em sock 'em robots for our topper. We have to find a small version of the game though. I know they make them, we just haven't been able to find them. |

this vaguely falls into this category. a friend of mine is getting married, and i plan on customizing a smogun with the colors of the wedding and give it to them for a bed side ring holder....any of you think smoguns arms are narrow enough to hold rings?.....i'm referring to the gargamel sculpt here. |

did you meet online?
maybe you played wii on your first date?
maybe you are just a super nerd.
seriously though, have fun. any appropriate toys could be used (and i don't count barbie and ken fucking on a cake as appropriate), or a good baker should be able to make a lot of basic sugar shapes or fondant toppers in a lot of different shapes. Have fun! |

missy wrote: did you meet online? haha actually we did meet online. on friendster. REMEMBER FRIENDSTER?? we looked at the miis also, but she's afraid that only we and 3 other people there will get it. i'm ok with that but i think she wants it more recognizable we also looked at these 2 robots on thinkgeek.com (one clear and one black) that we were going to attach a veil to and paint a suit on, but she thinks the robots look too mean and she's not into stat wars enough to use star wars action figures. i would love to use chewbacca for myself though |

Danielle and I found a place that makes clay toppers that look like you. We are most likely going to do ours there, they look SWEET. I'll ask her for the link later tonight. |

We used Mother and Fathjer of Ultraman as cake toppers and a close-up photo of them for our invitations. One of my wife's sisters made the cake. We held the reception at a small university pub with pool tables pinball machines and a cd jukebox and an open bar. The food was a roast turkey buffet with all the trimmings. It was very inexpensive and everyone had a great time.

Umm.. redking and blackking? Ren and Stimpy? How about... trying to hook up with dehara... have him do a clay piece of each of you? It would cost a fortune, but it would be cool and you would always have those to look at and think back to that day. |

Sorry for the late responce: My Wife and I uaed Zilla & Rhodan in custom sewn garments with accessories for our cake. The Roaring feature of the toys kept guests quite entertained.
I wanted to go for unique, but on a budget. It was not easy convincing the violinists to play Depeche Mode. |

My wife had Hello Kitty for her and I had an old school Chewbacca for me. This was years before I was collecting Kaiju, so I think it would be a little different now. |

My wife loved it, and she agreed to let me have a hardcore show as the second reception, so I wasn't about to complain! |
