2 Jaws films, 2010, Blue Thurder... and the film Sorcerer (fantastic film) is what I remember him for. Sucks, a true icon of the 70s/80s actors I recall from my youth. |

I just got the Seven Ups on DVD this past Thanksgiving. Watched it again this morning. Awesome film. I always thought Seven Ups was an extension of his character in French Connection. Both are named Buddy. Even though it isn't alot of the same actors appear in both films. Even Vito's wife is named Angie his G/f from French Connection. Roy will be sadly missed. New York crime drama's (my fave) from the 70's won't be the same for me anymore. Chris |
