Is there any translator escort service in japan, like hiring a translator to go around in tokyo for 1 day. Thx

I think you can look around pay phones at night time for things like this...

garadama, if you're conducting some serious business transactions you might need a translator, otherwise you can get by just fine in Tokyo with a minimal understanding of Japanese. I recommend these books:

- Lonely Planet Tokyo City Guide
- Japanese Phrases for Dummies
- Tokyo Underground (duh)
