that's really nice looking. i thinks that is one of the most realistic version of the ninja turtles i have ever seen. i guess the others can't be that far behind.

Leo looks older in that sculpt. Less teenage and more turtle, I guess.

Did anyone else catch the first two TMNT movies on TV last night? I haven't seen those in forever. It's kind of refreshing to watch a movie with a bunch of guys running around in foam rubber turtle suits, after all of the 3-hour special effects extravaganzas that we are forced to endure these days.

I'm crazy about the anatomy on this piece. I love the way the sculptor rendered the shell, especially where it connects to his torso up around his neck, and the patterning on the back.

Really, I haven't bought anything TMNT since the original Eastman & Laird books when I was a kid, but this thing is sorely tempting me...the sculptor's taking pre-orders for the kit now....oof....

since we are on the subject, has any of you turtles fans seen the set coming out soon from neca? it's based on the old eastman & laird comics rather than the cartoon......at the chicago comic con i pissed in a urinal next to kevin eastman. i was awstruck, and looked at him, mid-flow, and cracked a huge ass smile. it probably creeped him out. anyways, here is the neca pics....better and bigger ones on the neca site!

Such an amazing sculp. Puts a whole new dimension on TMNT. I like the way it moves away from the stylized comic cartoon style and adds realism to the species.

Reminds me of Micheal Zulli's run in the TMNT comics. http://www.ninjaturtles.com/comics/mira ... /35/35.htm
