I applaud him.

He went, so you don't have to. That is the mark of a true hero.

I think morality laws (drugs, prostitution, etc) are ridiculous, but I did think it was pretty funny that as NY Attorney General the hypocrite busted high profile prostitution rings and now gets busted seeing a hooker. That is awesome

I met this guy a couple months before he became governor at a friend's wedding. he was a nice guy, very friendly. his family was very nice too--I'm sure his fun wasn't worth what he's got to deal with at home now.

prostitution should be illegal. work for sex exchanges should only be permitted within the confines of marriage.

Yeah, given that it's not exactly a secret that high-price prostitution rings for people at high levels of influence have existed forever, his outing does raise the eyebrow of political getback. I wonder if there were other known names that enjoyed the services of this "club" that aren't being revealed?

I like the band name idea. Sounds like '60's garage punk to me. It wouldn't surprise me if "client 9" becomes cynical politico-chat shorthand, sort of like "wide stance."

Yes it should be, and is in Vegas.

Well, if it isn't someone who is forced into prostitution from a pimp or something, then yeah, I guess it should be legal.

You don't have pimps when it's legal, then the cops can "protect" the ladies.

I rather focus on getting rid of cops then giving them more ways of legally being corrupt bastards. Then get rid of all these hypocrite officials that prosecute people when they do worse, then eventually get rid of presidents and government positions that give power to a single person.

We still need schools, roads, firemen, bla bla bla.

The only cops that don't do frivilous crap that would still need to be in effect is SWAT and they don't even patrol. No more radar sniping fatsos making 70k or more a year for 2 years of education and some "police training"

You took me wrong.

When prostitution is legal, a prostitute can be legally protected by the cops whose job it is to do such. When it is illegal to sell your body, you must turn to illegal means of "protection".

it should totally be legal. when i was younger, i sure would have liked it.

whores provide a very necessary and humanitarian job. there have always been whores and there always will be. they deserve the same rights and protections that any of you get. i personally think that their biggest function is one that most of us would never consider: they give their time and attention to people who may otherwise be very lonely, cast out, or shunned. that alone is a wonderful thing. whores rule! i should know, i am/have been one and am not ashamed in the least. i know i've helped a lot of people, given advice, listened when they had no one else to listen to them. there is a lot of bad shit that can happen to a whore and i'm not talking about venereal disease, they really do deserve some protection.

ok, off my soapbox now.

Actually, this is incorrect... Prostitution is legal in Nevada in certain counties which are under a certain population level. Prostitution remains illegal in Las Vegas... despite all appearances otherwise at the Palms or Mandalay Bay.

Fair enough, there are legal brothels in Vegas, depending on the county your in.
