I dunno, I just like my job I guess. Even if no one needs anything, I can always sit and talk with one of my patients, or play Jeopardy with them and win. |

surf the web. Although I'm bored at times I am extremely grateful that I have the opportunity to get online during the day. |

i'm listening to nirvana - nevermind i closed my eyes as smells like teen spirit started, and i can remember the first time i listened to it on my own album... sitting in a chair with my walkman at my aunt/uncle's house a little after christmas where i had just gotten the tape as a gift. bittersweet nostalgia |

Since I have no internet access at work I tend to whip out a calculator and paper. Then I calculate how much I've spent on vinyl, quickly jot down things I would spend money on if they were available, and finally I sketch my detolfs and what's in them and how i'll fit the new stuff in. Then I throw that paper away and read "The Week" and hope that time goes by faster. Human Beings were not meant to sit on their asses and do this bullshit. C. |

pickleloaf wrote: if i didn't have internet, i would have quit by now and if i figured how much i really spent i would throw up I don't mind it so much. I get paid for 4 hours and I only have to be there for 2.5. It's a nice break from being on the internet at home all the time. I know everyone says this but I am going to seriously cut back (unless something on my "impossible to find most wanted list" comes up) on spending after my Celga box arrives next week. I need to save, think about another job, getting out of Buffalo, and take a vacation. Not in that order and preferably somewhere tropical for a vacation. Maybe Thailand? That's what i'll be thinking about at work today, oh that and buying Curb Season 6 on my way home tonight. C. |

I consider the time I spend reading about toys and other stuff on this site to be the modern day equivalent of the "smoke break". Plus, I'm right in front of the screen all day anyway, so an extra open window or two never hurts for those "lag" moments... |
