they had a really cool t-shirt for the event with an image of paul stanley and yo la tengo in a kiss font, but only for kids.

i first saw yo la tengo in 98 not having any idea who they were (a friend asked me to come. they were underwhelming to me at the time because i had just seen the jesus lizard and was expecting another wild show i guess but fast forward a little and i got into their music big time. then i finally got to see them live last year and they were phenomenal! there's my shitty story for the day |
