| Post subject: | Flippers Needed for Vapor Magazine article |
Hey, So I'm writing an article for Vapors Magazine on flippers of limited edition goods and wanted to get the perspective of some of the major flippers out there. For those of you on this board, if you are interested in speaking to me I'd love to hear from you. Furthermore, if you're in the Los Angeles Area I'm looking to schedule photoshoots. Also, if any skullbrainer here knows the names of major EBAY flippers, I'd like to get them... email me at: grabarnick@gmail.com or even pm me thanks, Adam |

Good luck but the known flipper(s) on this board deny that they are who they are, and will probably be loathe to come clean. Still, if they do, this should be an interesting article. |

I think the best way to find a flipper is via the "ask seller a question about this item" button on ebay. LOLZZZZZZ |

(Kidclam & MiniCupid) I thought it was against the rules for a seller to have two IDs... sounds suspicious to me. kidclam wrote: I don't live alone. Kidclam's currently using the alias "choppingblock9648" on eBay as his seller's ID. He changed it after his connection to Minicupid was revealed. "Kidclam" remains his ebay store's name however. From Choppingblock9648/Kidclam's eBay feedback history: there are 4 separate positive feedback reports from "Minicupid". So this guy isn't just a flipper, he shill bids his own auctions, and pumps up his own ebay seller ratings by posting positive feedback for himself. Sounds like a perfect subject for Cornbluth to interview... |

Kaiju Taro flipped a factory painted Bemon for 60,000 yen; think thats a record for the most obscenely priced new factory Bemon. He's allowed to do this though since he's one of the "good guys". He makes the Ebay flippers look generous by comparison with that flip. They're like $200 cheaper. |

cool, but i'm not really after the person who sells things here and there...I'm looking for the people who practically have a side business...the types who sleep outside of stores, buy up all the stock and sell them on ebay/messageboards/etc. even those who are members of boards/communities and do the same thing. It's not a slam piece at all either. 100% objective and presenting both sides of the scenario. |

Some hardcore flippers over there... |

i've met tbhouse, nice guy but sometime last year we found out about his flipping. he used to post at KR and then at the vinyl requiem forum but not anymore lol flippers don't like getting found out. http://stores.ebay.com/TBHOUSE-Figures- ... llectibles a couple months ago i was watching another kr flipper's ebay auctions and noticed he won the green kaws pushead companion, less than a week later he had that same companion on his store. let me try to think of that other kr flipper's name - she's a girl, she used to go by velvetrose and dunnyaddicted i believe. the other name was something like moonlightmystic and magic??? |
