my computer takes days to load when I boot up, there's too many programs that automatically start. How can I stop some of them from auto starting? Besides manually disabling in each programs preferences, is there an easier way? |

PC? Go to the Start button, hit RUN, type: msconfig Should give you lists (2 tabs on the right titled "Services" and "Startup")of all the useless apps and services that Microsoft is letting dog your system resources. You can uncheck any you want, but do some research if you're not sure which ones are useless and which are essential. There are websites out there where you can learn how to make your machine run as lean as possible. I've tweaked the shit out of mine and it really helps. Good luck! |
