as inspired by a thread of the same name on the kubrickworld board.

here's mine:

http://www.dvdaficionado.com/dvds.html?cat=1&id=skylar

the list definitely needs to be updated though. I have a bunch of other stuff that I've been too lazy to put on. and a bunch of japanese stuff that's not on there.

Netflix is going to destroy the video store as we know it, especially the mom and pop video store, which is as everyone knows the best kind.

I don't really understand how you're supposed to know what movies you want to watch in advance all the time. you can't be impulsive. you can't go to the video store with nothing in particular in mind, browse around, pick something up that you have no idea what it is and may never have seen before but looks interesting, read the back, and rent it and get a pizza and possibly have your life changed forever.

also, you don't get that dingy video store smell aka the most beautiful thing in the world.

I own very few DVDs but Rushmore is one of them.

And Napolean Dynamite is okay but I don't get the mass appeal.

That Ultraman clock is great!

yeah. it plays music too, and then the characters spin around, on the hour and sometimes randomly. it actually got quite annoying because it used to be in my bedroom, so I took out the batteries that operated the audio portion. now it just tells time.

Ok, so how many other people here have the Twin Peaks set on VHS b/c they won't release the whole damn thing on DVD? The first season set wasn't too bad although they neglected to include the pilot episode...Twin Peaks is probably my fav tv show of all time and actually one of very few reasons why I still have a VCR around...

I don't know dude, I might have seen some of them.

and as far as twin peaks, that's actually my girlfriend's VHS set.

I slept on buying that spanish DVD set of the whole show, the only way to get it all on DVD (including the pilot) and now it's long OOP and usually available only as bootlegs. I need to start watching ebay for it again.
