Quote: EST SALEM, Ill. (AP) -- A 5.2-magnitude earthquake that appeared to rival the strongest recorded in the region rocked people up to 450 miles away early Friday, surprising residents unaccustomed to such a powerful Midwest temblor. It woke my wife and I up this morning. It rattled our house and knocked pictures off the wall and figures off shelves. We wasn't sure what happened as we have never felt or been in a earthquake. Did anyone else feel this? |

Yeah, I felt it this morning too. I woke up while the dogs freaked out. Everything calmed down but it was weird, it was the first Earthquake I've ever felt. |
