just my two cents!

Well said Rhino, I think this will all work out - no one need doubt for a second that Glenn won't sort things out.

And I also promise not to insult anyone on teh board who wears Crocs ... but the rest of you are fair game

i'm not gonna bother reading this whole thing, but gleaning the last page, it's something to do with Muton taking issue with Glenn wearing crocs...

First off, why glenn? Isn't there better footwear out there?

Second off... hms- don't think i'm not judging you too....

20! How many feet do you have?

Or are you one of those crazy shoe collectors too?

um, 3. why, is that weird?

i only buy pumas and only suede clydes (or "states" or "trainers" as they're known in the UK) - but to wear, not to sit in the closet.

In all seriousness, i think there's a connection to kaiju - i just love the crazy colorways. the more the colors clash and just plain don't make sense, the more I love them (the shoes that is).

I mostly wear clydes and shell toes. occasionally Nike makes an SB so silly I end up buying them.

My N0.4 NYC's have just about had it.

I gotta chime in on the Puma por Vida! Aside from Asics they're the most comfortable shoe I've worn, and the Clyde/Suede always looks good.

the strange thing about the whole situation is that when it began me and joe weren't even mad, concerned yes, confused yes, but not mad, though we don't know pogue personally i knew he probably wasn't going to fuck us, though the fact that he never returned e-mails was concerning.
it was when all his so called friends decided it was their duty to chime in and tell all of us that we had no right to mad, or concerned.
the most eye opening thing i got out of this was that *you know who you are* is a complete dick, calling us babies because we simply wanted toys we bought to be sent to us, making it seem like we were all making an issue over nothing, when, all and all we were talking about hundreds of dollars in toys here. and more importantly toys we all loved and were really looking forward to getting. which really sucks because he was one of my favorite members here, into horror aswell as toys, it's the quickest way to my heart. the mocking posts he made were ridiculous and childish. i came out of this holding very little against pouge, but i did come out of it having very little respect for some other people. which is just too bad.

alright, I'm going to respond to this, and I'll take the high road and do it in a very mature, thought out manner so that I don't come off as ridiculous and childish, even though I could really honestly give a fuck.

I really do think that a lot of people here can be crybabies.

if they miss out on a toy, they make a post and pout about it. if something doesn't come in the mail in like 2 days, they make a big stink and call people out. if someone (heaven forbid!) says something slightly negative about someone else's buying/selling practices, their customs, etc., they call foul and go crying to the moderators.

yes, I talk to some of the moderators here outside of the board and I don't know specifics, but I do know that people go and whine to them about EVERYTHING.

OH MR. ADMIN, THIS PERSON SAID SOMETHING MEAN ABOUT ME, PLEASE TELL THEM TO KNOCK IT OFF!!!

is that how you all act in real life too? do you go and tell your boss every little problem at work? do you still call mommy and daddy when something doesn't go right? because I'm an adult, and for the most part I can take care of things myself without having to go I FART A LOT and moan to whoever is in charge if I don't get my way.

this is the only message board on the internet that I've ever participated in that has moderators. quite honestly, I think it's weird. why can't people just police themselves. I've never sent someone a message about someone I've had a problem with, because I'll tell that person directly that I have a problem with them.

I think people here are often overly impatient. in the case of 2 months or whatever this way, yes, I would be concerned. but I've seen threads here or have gotten PMs from people when they haven't received their toy in like 3-4 days. you know, some of us have lives outside of this. I know the response to that is gonna be "then don't sell toys if you're not prepared to ship them" or some such nonsense, but I mean, come on. I'll admit flat out, I'm bad about getting to the post office. I hope that doesn't mean that people won't buy toys from me, but if that's the case, then so be it. but I've never not sent someone a toy. I guess you could say we're all obsessed with toys to a certain extent, but not all of us to the point where it's all we think about. hey, get this, sometimes I get boxes in the mail that I know are toys, and I SET THEM ASIDE AND DON'T OPEN THEM FOR DAYS!!!

"oh my god, why would you do that when you spent so much money on them?!" because I like them, but they're not everything to me. I go through periods where I buy a lot, and I go through periods where I don't buy anything. money seems to be a big issue around there parts lately (I noticed in that will you be collecting in 10 years thread all those who said no was because of money). well, this is an expensive hobby, and if the money involved is that much of an issue, I would suggest that you don't do it. I try not to buy anything that I don't have the extra money for because I don't want to be worrying about it like some people seem to. and trust me, it's all relative. what you might think is a lot of money is a drop in the bucket to some other die hard collector. there are a bunch of toys that I REALLY REALLY want that just sold on ebay for $4288. imagine waiting on that package?

this is just a hobby. and I'm the first one to talk about being a "die hard collector" and being really serious about it and good at it, but I mean, it's not my life. there was a point in time that I didn't collect toys and I could just as easily do without at any time. I don't want to, but I wouldn't freak out. they're just toys. this is supposed to be fun. there are times when it's stressed me out, just like it has lots of you, that I have thought "fuck this, it's not worth it" because it ISN'T. so then I just stopped getting stressed out by it.

sometimes people make the biggest deals over stuff here. and a lot of them seem really, REALL Y sensitive. now some of what I'm about to say might be insensitive and I'm sorry, but it's true.

so someone's toy got stolen. that sucks. go ahead and fire off a thread to vent. but why like 15 of them?!
so some people might have gotten ripped off, but probably not. they tried to contact the guy and he didn't write back. they called him out publicly. maybe they still won't get their toy, who knows?

I've gotten ripped off before. I've lost things I just bought before. shit happens. I got over it and I'm fine.

like I said, I love collecting toys. I am very serious about it. but I really, really try not to let it get so serious that I get upset and fuck up the rest of my life about it.

I made a couple of threads that were jokes about all these situations to try to lighten the mood, but of course people here take everything so fucking seriously, so then they got upset about that.

why can't any of you just laugh it off? do you all take yourselves that seriously? fucking give it up already.

so then a made a thread that people were crybabies, because they are. you're right, I am a dick. sometimes someone has to tell the truth, even if it's not the most pleasant thing to hear. this super nicey nicey environment that's been established here where everyone just pats each other on the back and strokes each others egos all the time is what is fucking ridiculous. grow a fucking backbone, learn to take some criticism for once.

and most importantly, stop making threads where you all whine like little bitches when every little toy related incident doesn't go your way. it's fucking stupid.

I was a bit into shoes. Nike, Bape, Adidas.....yes...I said Bape. They're pretty comfy actually. I stopped cause it takes up more space than toys..and unlike the uber shoe collectors, I wear my shoes more than once.

My unworn Nikes are keeping me in toys, thanks to occasional sales at Flight Club LA.

Bapes are super comfortable - total AF1 bite, but much more comfortable.

Bapestas, AF1's, SB's and (my favorites) Air Max 87's all the way.

Air Max 87's are the most comfortable shoes ever. I have some Adidas, but they have to be the least comfortable sneaker I've ever worn.
