Who here is a fan? I just recently got into them. I'm usually not a fan of the type of singing, but Jens makes it work for me. The music is just completely awesome. It's like Tool on steroids. I'm about 20 years late to the party, but I always love discovering a new band that I dig. |

I love this band. If you want to check out another band that's similar but more of a hardcore type band check out, a life once lost. Their record on deathwishinc is pretty sick. www.deathwishinc.com |

i'm not sure if this is true, but my friend who really likes them told me they live really far apart nowadays, so when writing new stuff someone writes part/whole of a song and sends it on for the next person to write etc etc. I guess they're so used to each other's styles and are so technically proficient that it works, just seems so weird and inorganic to me, but then again they are a pretty inorganic sounding band, haha maybe this is a more common writing style than I am aware of |

Great band for sure. The technical skills are beyond belief and the drummer's a plain machine. They do have an almost industrial edge that sets 'em apart from most metal bands. |

their earlier stuff is more "death metal-ish), they appeared during the fear factory & machine head period. i'm not as into their new sound. |
