A co-worker and I were exchanging poems via email about our feelings of the band Duran Duran. She wrote her own poem about Duran Duran that was crude and funny. then I responded with a poem, and so on. She's a huge fan, and I'm not, so it was some really funny stuff going back and forth. Anyway, I got the idea to write some haiku about my hobby, and decided to share this here. no big whoop. If you want to add your own, please do!


I love vinyl toys
From Japan they cost a lot
I’m a fucking dork.

Hey, I’ve lost some weight
My toy collection grows fat
My girlfriend left me

Smooch, kiss, kiss, kiss, smooch
Squeeze, kiss, kiss, look around….lick~!
Another new toy

Duran fan, Toy freak
Who should we shoot first? Let’s see…
That’s easy! Toy freak.

Crack-rock, Weed, Bootleg
DVDs, prostitution
Look! I bought five toys!

Ramen noodles, bread
Peanutbutter and jelly
Ran out of bread. Damn.

Classic haiku btw, has some form of seasonality in it, or alluding to seasons. If you do more, try to work some in there.
