| Post subject: | Burn Hollywood! Burn! |
i woke up at 5 this morning like i have been doing for the past week because my back hurts so much i cant sleep. so after doing a few things i notice a helicopter just hovering outside my apt. i look out the window and there is a giant cloud of smoke going up in the air. i turned on the news to find out that the building on the corner of hollywood and vine is consumed in flames. so i got showered, took the dog out, fed him and the cat and i took these after this fire was already burning for an hour and a half. outside my shower window:
outside my apartment on the street:
down my street on the corner of hollywood and wilcox (about 2 or 3 blocks away):

Read about this before seeing the pics. I'm glad it's not closer to your home. Thanks for posting and here's hoping nobody gets hurt. |

i dont think anyone has been hurt or anything. those dude fighting the flames are insane. i wouldnt have the nuts to do that. luckily it was this building here and not the capitol records building or something. over the weekend an old restaurant in hollywood caught fire and was destroyed. for a city that doesn't respect its history, things like this suck. |

Anyone who signs up for a job where they would voluntarily walk into a blazing building has big cajones! They don't get enough respect in this country. |
