Can you pop over to Santorini? The views from the town of Ia at Sunset were probably amongst the most amazing i've ever seen anywhere. ![]()

If your stay extends longer than a day, I'd recommend Meteora, in the central part of the country. It has some very old monasteries perched high up in the mountains, on rocky crags, and accessible only by bridges. It was very cool to visit.

Wow, you've been to Santorini, Toybot? I hope to be able to visit there one day- I've seen pictures and the island looks beautiful (and I've heard good things about the food). |

I hope to be able to visit there one day- I've seen pictures and the island looks beautiful (and I've heard good things about the food). spent our honeymoon in Greece. Santorini was def. the highlight. I could do another 10 days just in the little town of Ia. Mykonos was disappointing cause we don't rave and didn't have any X with us. Athens was terrible. too much traffic and smog, but you have to check it out for the ruins. One interesting spot we spent some time was in Rhodes. It's another island with an ancient medieval fortress / city. amazing cause you could really imagine what it was like (sort of) to live in this time period. I would go back to greece in a heart beat. michael, you're a lucky guy to be spending 6 weeks there. you're gonna have a blast. fuck you and you're globtrotting ways. have two kids and kiss my ass. |
