I heard mentioned once, but I didn't catch the name, that there was a certain designer that was nearly the sole influence on the fashion scene that hit the start of punk. Supposedly the scene around the sex pistols owed thier sense of style to her. I think she had a show at some museum in SF about 6 months back. Can someone give me info on this lady? Thank you |

Are you referring to Vivienne Westwood? Edit: She had a shop way back when on King's Road in London with Malcom McLaren who created and managed the Sex Pistols. They basically started "fashion punk" |
