I picked up the 'Witching Hour' album a little while back. These guys are incredible. So refreshingly different! |

So is that video representative of their new album, or did the sound quality get butchered? I dig "604". I think the producer/engineer did an amazing job with that album. |

More than likely the sound was butchered. When I saw them on tour for Witching Hour they cranked it up so much that everything was distorted and sounded quite ugly. Rather disappointing. All the intricate layers were completely destroyed. I think I'm gonna pass on their concert tomorrow night because of this. Although, I never would have found out about CSS if I didn't see Ladytron last time, who is opening for them this tour? |

The sound was pretty muddy but we were right next to the speaker and my little casio exilim camera cannot handle the loud noise... I have the sound on the camera turned all the way down to the last notch before it goes completely silent in order to make it as audible as I possibly can... The last time I saw them was in Orlando at Club Firestone and the sound was way way better... The new album Velocifero is incredible...!!! I'm a huge fan and have all the material they have ever put out except for maybe a few b-side cd singles and so forth... Mira is sooo yummy it hurts.... |
