So, this has happened. After about a year and a half of mourning for my dear, departed Rawley, fate has seen fit to join my life with this new one. I present to you the magical Delicate Dee (I named her after my niece's toy bird), saved from the streets by friendly neighbors. You just never know~

Awww, just so nice Rei. If anybody could say 'no' to that face, then this is a harsh a cruel world I don't want to live. Very amazing of you to welcome a new friend into your home.
Thanks for the kind words everybody. It means a lot. It has been (and still is) difficult, and I really appreciate the thoughts and sharing of others' stories.

Odd indeed. But I imagine that for most people who would get a look at the workspaces/comfort zones of the folks here, they would be wondering a lot more about the people with plastic monster toys everywhere, and might not even think twice about such a 'collage.'

Edit: Forgot the I already posted the above in Pets vs. Toys. Here's another view of the incident: The shelves were already plenty chaotic, as the toys are just coralled to be packed rather than set up for display.
