I am kind of unfamiliar with flickr and I was thinking of starting an account, and I noticed that most people have flickr as opposed to photobucket... my question is, why does everyone prefer flickr? Is it preferred simply because one can link to other flickr accounts? I kind of like photobuckets "view all" option that allows you to see all the pictures at once on a single page, but I don't think flickr has that option |

doesn't photobucket have some time limit on how long each image stays on its server? |

i use both.. flickr seems superior as far as layout and options. the contacts feature on flickr makes it a big plus as well. a lot of sb members are on there with awesome photos! and you can view all your contacts newly updated pics, so its pretty rad |

flickr is more a social photo site - contacts, groups and you can organize and stuff like that a lot easier. photobucket is more utility - using it to post images |
