don't you think it ODD that we havent been back to the moon since the first time we went? although the actual "first time" is debatable we did make it to the moon - you should google why we aren't "allowed" back - our guys was told to gather some rocks and never come back.....but it wasn't NASA giving that order....

More conspiracy theories. The math simply does not add up. Even if some lifeform came from the nearest solar system to ours, it would take them (travelling at 1 million mph) 25.8 million hours or 2945 years to get here.

there has also been a flap of UFO sightings worldwide recently too.

Again, we think things impossible due to laws and calculations we, as a species, have created. Just playing devils advocate, but if there are way more advanced life forms out there, would it be an even further leap of the imagination that they have some way of travelling long distances in a shorter time?

From what I read about the xfiles movie...Nope.

Well, I ended up checking the wiki on Mitchell last night...I guess it's not really the groundshaking news I thought it was, that he should say these things :D :

As for the assumption that aliens couldn't visit us because it would take too long to get here, I think that's a weak argument; as Ultra Gigan said, it's all based on our "laws", and our old ones at that. The cutting edge of science (string theory, quantum physics...both getting closer to verifiable truth each year...(we'll see what the large hadron collider shows us!)) would seem to support other means of "travel" for such beings to visit us...such as extradimensionality.

I was kind of surprised to hear Mitchell assert that he thinks it's just regular ol' linear space travel...
