i have an article from a few years ago cut out somewhere about how they thought it could possibly be linked to our governments labs in some military instilation (possibly abandoned?) i was just telling a friend about it the other day, all i got was "of course youd read that". wish this was considered more important since it sent everyone in a freaking tizzy back then.  thanks for posting this. |

Greenwald's coverage of this issue is IT. Very brave, and he nails the contradictions. I found it very interesting that at several news sites, the public commentary almost unanimously thought that the whole affair of the Associated Press stories demonizing Ivins in the immediate wake of his conveeeenient "suicide" stank to high heaven. Normally, suspicions regarding governmental cover-ups are instantly labeled "conspiracy theory" (which they are, although the term has become almost entirely perjorative) with all the attendant "tinfoil hat" dismissals. In this case, it seems that a huge majority suspect cover-up, regardless of political orientation. I haven't followed Greenwald's blog for several days but found it ... interesting that the ABC news website was deleting all mention of Greenwald's articles when the first Ivins stories broke. He'd been very hard on them in the past for reporting falsehoods about the Anthrax stories. |
