i just shaved off all facial hair for the first time in about 6 years, and with my top-of-head hair still long, i now came to the realization that i look a lot like a mix between Michael Bolton, Steve Minier, and that guy who does the main music for Back To The Future. Which, as cool as all 3 of them are, I don't want to look like that. I'll have to shave the stuff on top too. But then I'm affraid i'll look like Paul Dianno. And everyone knows that Paul Dianno sucks after we were introduced to the awesomeness of Bruce Dickenson....i should of just kept the facial hair, that way i could remain looking like Jesus. |

I'm an old fart who still thinks Dickinson shoulda stayed with Samson . . . true, but, being an iron maiden fan for as long as i can remember, there was that period in the mid 90's when dickenson left and that other dude sucked, i was longing for him to return! and dianno's stuff with maiden rocks, i just like dickenson rocking the vocals more. and steve harris is the man that makes iron maiden iron maiden, so all that above ranting can be forgotten... |

Shave your head and grow your beard back. I generally shave head/face during the summer and let it grow during the winter. It's amazing how much my appearance changes just by adding or removing hair. |

I have a goatee that sometimes becomes beard in winter...probably started it about 20 years ago, and maybe 7 or so into it, I shaved it all off---no stache or chin whiskers. Fortunately, I took a picture of it and anytime the crazy thought of going whiskerless pops into my head, I take it out and remember my vow to never, ever, make that mistake again. Had long hair to go with it at one time, but it is far less depressing to lose short hair than long, so it stays pretty close these days... |

I've had a goatee for the past 20 years . . . I'm afraid that if I shave it off I'll find I have no chin. |

I'm trying to grow out a beard. Sometimes I'm happy with it, and sometimes I just want to shave it and keep the mustache. I want one of those loopy mustaches, those things are awesome. |

i have never shaven off my mustachio since i started growing it in middle school. the goatee has been on my person since high school, haven't shaved it for 5 years. and i grow a mini beard or short stubble here and there. don't really shave anymore. just use the machine (forgot the name of it) to leave it super short. |

My third month in Japan I finally got over the constant stares from the small town natives and grew huge Lambchops. I figured I'd give them somthing to really stare at. Then I thought(I was drinking alot) a mohawk would be good with lambchops. I was mistaken. The Lambchops were shaven minutes after the Mohawk. Now its just a waiting game for my hair to grow back out. So as to what HMS said... yah wearing a hat works. |
