hey all, especially any of you waiting for a toy from me right now......was in the hospital for the past week and a half with no internet to speak of (and here in san francisco, too! c'mon google, what happened to your promise of a free and wireless city thruout, huh?) and am home now but still recuperating, unable to do much more than lie in bed.....i will have any promised toys to you soon as i am able. i am a bit shaken and even a little frightened by my recent experience. i ain't running out on nobody tho and i'm going to be ok, but the toys will have to wait until i'm a little more mobile. k?

Yeah, what's up with that? I always see people in hospitals in movies, and they have laptops and stuff, but whenever I'm in the hospital, it's like "no computers!"

shit, i had my laptop with me, just no wifi in the north tower and it was too much effort/pain to go over to the south tower. i did play with my spore creature creator a bit and will post a few pics later, made some standard kaiju pieces (modern) and then a few of my own that i quite like!

when i had kidney surgery a couple months back, i didn't even care about a computer. at that moment, nothing existed except for the pain!......and my son, because he reminded me of the pain repeatedly everytime he jumped up on the bed.

I was in the hospital for an operation a few years back and even though it wasn't anything major it was still a scary experience. Just keep in mind that you will get stronger with each passing day and in no time you will be putting this all behind you. Hang in there! Think positive thoughts!

sorry to hear playdoh,,i hope you are on the mend 100% in no time...

i am on the opposite end from you,,just gearing up for an extended hospital visit,,i go to surgery on sept 23rd & will be there atleast a month,,,then another 1-2months recovery at home,,am not looking forward to this to say the least..

there better be wifi or i may go crazy :shock:

yo playdoh, if you want me to ship your US-bound packages for you, I will. I can swing by whenever (I'm only down the road off Mission St). I'd ship them from work and they don't ask for shipping money until after they ship.

Paul, did you get your inspirado replaced at the hospital? I recall that it was failing you a little bit...
