EDIT: Photo removed. I was thinking of using jewel cubes as risers. Otherwise, there is always Tap Plastics (there is a location in Mountain View on Castro St.). Nice display t0fu! I dig the lighting style. |

We can read- I just figured a photo might be helpful if you are looking for a new one or ideas on shelf placement. The original post wasn't real specific. My recommendations (as noted above) are either 1. jewel cubes, which are cheap and mobile; or 2. Tap Plastics, which can probably custom build risers for your case, provided with specifications. Bryce- yes, you need to add on the doors yourself. They're just repurposed bookshelves. The doors pop into the holes that are normally used for the shelf pegs. |

yes, i was just tryin to show the billy itself, if you want risers, the easiest are the ones they sell at the container store. clear various sizes, your only concern should be how many shelves you actually want to have. other then getting them custom made, i don't know anyone that sells risers long enough to fit in a billy |

In the kitchen section of IKEA, they sell a clear (acrylic?) container that is about 18" wide, 3.5" tall and 2.5" deep & it is designed to be hung on the wall (holes for screws on one side). You can flip these upside down & they make a great riser for about $6 to $7. |

UnderBeit wrote: Is it this one? http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20120577 Wow, that's almost perfect for what I'd like. BUT I want to display 5"-7" figures in it! I'd really like a wall-mounted acrylic cube display for a group of fight figs is all. I hate Deltofs, I hate most display cab's I see, I'd rather save room and mount them all on the wall (standard 9" Kaiju aside.) It'd be nice for a large mini collection though. |

Muji (if there's one near you and they do the same stock worldwide?) have been mentioned on here before - http://www.muji.eu/pages/online.asp?V=1&Sec=3&Sub=17&CHK=Y They do some nice 'collection boxes' with cells big enough for small toys. I use a mixture of pen pots, minidisk boxes, cassette boxes and risers to get different levels on my shelves. All these would fit in a Billy no problem... |
