we just went to the beach

saw lots of monsters

strange skeletal beast

(this was a failed attempt at folding up a tent... totally ruined it then unsuccessfully tried to bend it into a shape i could carry off the beach)

i was pissed that i forgot my Gargamel Microman to photograph in various places, so I had to buy a cheap toy while i was there.

little guy from the gift shop at Fort Macon.
the sign said he was lead free! :D

wind up gorilla that doesnt seem to spit sparks anymore.
anyone know how old this may be? it says hong kong on one of the feet

weird Roulette Man toy
it needs some TLC - i need to open up the bottom and get the levers that make the wheel spin and ball drop to work again... and the plastic mat and ball are missing unfortunately.
i got it for pretty cheap though so i'm happy

That roulette thing is incredible. I love weird little pieces like this. The packaging is even better. "IT'S FUN. IT'S EXCITING"

Maybe I just watch too many cheesy ghost movies, but can't you just see that Roulette Man coming to life in the middle of the night? You'll woken from sleep by a small voice saying "It's fuuuuuuuuuuun it's exciiiiiiiiiiitinggggg......"
