It's the Harley-Davidson 105th anniversary in Milwaukee this weekend - tons o' bikes & beards. Lots of fun though - people from all over the world, and most of them are really, really, cool. Seeing the Black Crowes tonight, Joan Jett & Springsteen tomorrow, and Blue Oyster Cult on Sunday. Monday I'll most likely be nursing an intense hangover. On the down side, saw Black Rebel Motorcycle Club last night, and boy, what a pile of shit. |

I lived right off of State St by the War Memorial/Art Museum, and for the 100th there were bikes PACKED along the park as far as the eye could see. I miss that "potato, potato, potato" rumble every summer and the North Ave. Block Party. Although, this weekend is Bumbershoot here in Seattle, which can be good. |

2:30 to go... Having days off is a love / hate thing for me. I love having an extra day off, but I hate not getting paid for it. |

Just really, really lackluster performance style, added to the fact that they just can't play that well. Not the most awful thing I've seen, I guess, but after 20 minutes (or 10, to be honest) you've seen all they have to offer. Better off listening to the records, I think. |
