I was taking a spin through NCSX when I came across a listing for [url=http://b.bngi-channel.jp/daikaijyu/monster.html=Dai Kaiju Batte[/url]!

what an awesome looking game. that link above will show you the Kaiju battle roster, which is impressive. Can you name 'em all?

For the Wii next month

Interesting...it's based off an Ultraman card game...wonder how much fun it'll be. Probably won't ever make it over here.

If you have it online, they do updates to prevent it, I believe.

Um... prevent the blocking, or... prevent stateside playing?
:?

Sorry, I'm a gaming ignoramus, but my kid has a Wii, so I might like to pick this one up, if we could actually use it on our machine....

I'm pretty sure if you hook your Wii online, Nintendo sends updates to prevent you from playing games not in your region. Surprisingly enough, I haven't heard of any sort of hacks or swap-out tricks, either. I haven't actually tried it, but the owner of our local import game shop said the Japanese games won't work on a US Wii.

Thanks, hillsy.

Dammit.
Sux.

Well, if anyone hears of hacks to get these games to work, I'm all ears...
