It's been theorized that it's a she for a while. At one point someone even thought there was a baby hanging onto her. You can see some stuff here, like the length of the arms, that makes it seem real, but the overall effect is someone in a stuffed suit. But just because the Patterson-Gimlin film might be a fake, doesn't mean that Bigfoot isn't real. ;p |

Seeing the stabilized image makes it look to me like it's just a guy in a furry suit. The herky-jerky original was much more convincing. |

that's really interesting. if one was to go through all the trouble of making a suit, it just seems interesting that they would make him a "her".... |

Its something in the way that it is walking that makes it look like a human in a suit. Its all casual and relaxed even silly looking with deliberate plodding steps and funny arm movements. I would expect it to be a bit more lithe. Maybe it's just a big dorky femfoot. |

Too funny - I love how bigfoot grabs his torn-off arm before running away. I also love how Steve Austin's shirt remains tucked in the entire time. |

Def looks like man in suit. Look at the size of the steps, like they're trying to lengthen the strides. Awkwardddddd |
